Athens Victorian Stroll: December 10: This free event offers fun for the entire family. There will be contemporary art and performances galore interspersed with our Victorian past. A Victorian Santa and horse drawn trolleys and many performances throughout the day at the Athens Cultural Center, Athens Municipal Building, First Reformed Church and the Rivertown Senior Center.
The Nutcracker Ballet: December 9-11: Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory, NYC joins with former Met Opera Ballet star Victoria Rinaldi, to create the most enchanting Nutcracker ever for the Catskill Region.

Winter Walk – December 3: Now celebrating its 20th year, Hudson’s mile-long Warren Street is transformed into a festive boulevard with twinkling lights, carolers, colorful roaming street performers, stunning storefront displays, delicious local food, carriage rides, magical riverfront fireworks, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and even live reindeer.
WinterWalk &+ Winter Parade – December 10: Santa and Mrs. Claus ring in the festivities throughout the village and will welcome kids’ to the Valatie Community Theatre
